Senior Class 2026

As we approach graduation, please help ensure your student(s):

  1. Maintain academic focus
  2. Make responsible decisions
  3. Avoid distractions that could jeopardize graduation
  4. Continue working toward this milestone achievement

Graduation Attire for GraduatesALL GRADUATES must follow the official graduation dress code.  Students who do not comply may not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

Cap & Gown Guidelines

  • Hairstyles must allow the cap to fit properly.
  • Caps must be worn level on the head (not angled). 
  • Tassels are worn on the right side before graduation, and moved to the left when directed during the ceremony.
  • Graduation caps may not be decorated. 
  • Academic and military honors are permitted.
  • Personal/customized, cultural, or non-academic sashes are not permitted.

Attire Options
Option 1: Dresses / Skirts / Dress Pants

  • Cool, comfortable dress, skirt, or dress pants
  • Simple neckline that does not interfere with the graduation gown
  • Dresses may not extend below the graduation gown
  • Dress shoes only, medium-height heels recommended for safety 

Option 2: Dress Pants

  • Dark dress pants
  • Dress shirt with a collar (ties optional)
  • Dress shoes with socks

Not Permitted: Jeans, shorts, sneakers, deck shoes or flip flops

Graduation ExpectationsTo maintain the dignity of the ceremony, disruptive or disrespectful behavior will result in removal from the venue.  This includes the use of air horns, noisemakers, and other disruptive devices.

Additional Expectations: 

  • No gum chewing
  • Graduates will exit through the front entrance of the Ocean Center (A1A, across from the Hilton Hotel)
  • Families must meet the graduates outside the front entrance; please designate a meeting location in advance 
  • No personal belongings may left in the graduation hall (keys, purses, cameras, phones, etc.)
  • Cell phones must be secured on the graduate's person and may not be held or used during the ceremony 
  • Seats may not be saved; guest seating is first-come, first served 
  • Balloons, banners, large signs, and air horns are not permitted 

Important Information for Friends and Family Each ticket holder (including children) may bring the following: 

  • One clear bag no larger than 12”x 6”x 12” or a one-gallon clear Ziploc, or similar bag
  • One small clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5”x 6.5”, with or without a strap
  • Diapers and wipes in a clear bag (diaper bags are not permitted)
  • Additional items (blankets, jackets) must be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag
  • Small cameras, binoculars, and cell phones may be carried loosely or in an approved clear bag   


Venue Access

  • Doors open one hour prior to the ceremony start time
  • Once the graduation processional begins, guests will not be admitted until all graduates are seated

Graduation Ticket Information  

  • Graduates do not need a ticket
  • All other attendees must purchase a graduation ticket
  • Babies and small children who can sit on a lap do not require a ticket 
  • All outstanding financial obligations must be paid before ticket purchases 
  • Tickets cost $5.00 each

Ticket Sales Timeline:

  • Online school payments begin on May 1
  • Advance ticket sales end on May 20 at noon
  • Pre-purchased tickets will be distributed at Senior Awards on May 21
  • Tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster after May 20
  • Additional details will be shared as they become available

Parking Information

  • Each vehicle must have a parking pass to park in any of the parking lots or parking garage  
  • Advance parking passes cost $10.00 and are available beginning May 1
  • Advance parking sales will end May 20 at noon
  • Pre-purchased passess will be distributed at Senior Awards on May 21  
  • Day-of-graduation parking is $15.00 (cashless)
  • Parking passes are valid for any lot directed by the Daytona Beach Police Department
  •  Parking in non-designated areas (meters or private lots) requires payment at the posted rate
