Families must complete the online VCS registration. You will first create a FOCUS Parent Portal account. This portal will allow you to view your child’s grades, attendance, and important announcements. A valid email address is needed to create your FOCUS Parent Portal account. Your email address will become your portal username. Note: a VCS employee email account may not be used. Parents/guardians will need the following documents to complete the registration process: original student’s birth certificate, student’s Social Security Card, student’s Florida physical form, immunization from, and two proofs of residence (ex. lease, purchase agreement, power bill, water bill). Parents will also need their driver’s license/state identification card.
You will need to know your student's alpha code and 2022-2023 grade level to complete the VOL application for enrollment. You will not be able to submit your VOL application without this information. Parents are highly encouraged to complete this step now in order to proceed.
All required enrollment documentation must by on file with your zoned school, no later than July 31st of the current year for your child to enroll with Volusia Online Learning for the upcoming school year. Without the necessary documentation, your child may miss out on the opportunity to participate in our online program.
